1. Use your Body Weight
Push-ups, lunges, chin-ups, and squats are a great way to start using your body weight to get stronger. These can be used as a workout by doing 10 reps of each and doing 3 to 4 sets. You can also start off lighter, if 10 reps and 3 to 4 sets is too much for you that is okay! in order to get stronger you have to start somewhere, and anywhere is just the right amount. The only thing you need to remember is to stay consistent. working is like basketball practice, The more and harder your train the faster you will see growth.
2. Learn To be Strong On Defence
It is important to be strong on defence in order to win. Widen your stance and dig deep to straddle the leg of your opponent in order to leverage and create angles. Playing with older, more experienced players can help improve your understanding of leverage and defensive posture. Be sure to square your chest and spread your arms when defending, and be quick on your feet. Remember to give the extra effort- it could mean the difference between winning and losing.
3. Get Stronger Mentally
If you want to get stronger mentally, don't let your mistakes get in the way of your performance. Visualize yourself being strong and in control on the court, and erase any images of yourself feeling powerless or overwhelmed. Picturing yourself playing with strength will help you become stronger mentally.
4. Always choose the Harder option
Choose the more difficult tasks more often than the easy ones. Do not shy away from jobs or chores which require you to be mentally or physically tough. Let others know that you are unafraid of taking the difficult road.
5. Speak With Confidence
People who are strong maintain control over themselves. They don't resort to shouting, making threats, expressing anger, swearing, or looking sullen in order to get their point across. They can confidently and diplomatically say what they need to say. When communicating with someone, make direct eye contact and state your message clearly. Avoid attacking the person; simply state the facts.
6. Cut Out the Toxicity
If you want to be a strong person, you need to avoid things that weaken you. This includes things like gossip, comparison, defensiveness, lack of confidence, criticizing yourself or others, blame, racism, and quitting. These activities will only make you weaker, both in terms of your character and your moral fiber.
